IS 3D SECURE SAFE?
In the 3D Secure system, when a credit card payment transaction is in progress, the bank sends the transaction code to the cardholder’s mobile phone and verifies the cardholder’s identity. This prevents the card from being used by unauthorized and malevolent persons other than the card owner.
HOW DOES 3D SECURE WORK?
During the payment process to the cardholder’s mobile phone, a single-use code is sent at the bank side, the cardholder enters the transaction code and continues processing. Once the code is verified by the bank, the transaction is completed. If the code is not verified, payment will not occur.
